Recode, Inc. on Thursday reported record-breaking sales for the Knights apparel and footwear brand, with revenue for the third quarter reaching $8.3 billion, the largest one-time revenue ever in the company’s history.
The company reported quarterly sales of $7.8 billion, and net income of $1.3 million.
The record revenue for apparel in the quarter comes after the company introduced a new model of apparel, which it describes as “the first in the world.”
The Knight Rider apparel line debuted in April and includes apparel for men, women, and children, according to a statement from the company.
The line is part of the “Knight Rider” franchise and was introduced in July 2017.
The new model, dubbed “the future,” will be released in 2019, and will include a new, “improved” version of the iconic franchise.
The new model will be available in two different styles: “the next generation” and “the past generation.”
The new generation model is the “modern take on the iconic apparel” that will include more fabric and materials, while the past generation model will feature more traditional designs.
The company will continue to roll out new, and previously released, Knight Rider merchandise.
The most recent product to be released was the “The Big One” shirt, which has the logo of the upcoming “The Legend of the Blue Bomber,” according to the company, which also announced the release of the second season of “The Originals.”
